🚨K9 Retirement Announcement🚨

K9 Hektor has officially retired from service. K9 Hektor has faithfully served the citizens of Missouri City for many years. K9 Hektor is a dual purpose Narcotics/Patrol dog that was granted by K9s4Cops.org.

💙🐾Thank you for your service K9 Hektor!🐾💙

After years of dedicated service, he will be retired to live an easier, safer life. K9 Hektor has had many successes over the years. As a multipurpose canine, he’s tracked and apprehended violent felons, located evidence in crimes, sniffed out illegal drugs, and operated with the Fort Bend County Regional SWAT team. K9 Hektor and his handler have been able to train and work with local, state, federal teams.

However, one of the most important functions is his innate abililty to be social and member of the pack. Over the years, he and his handler have conducted demonstrations to thousands of people. The K9 program helps promote a positive relationship between the police and public because everyone wants to pet the K9!
