Handler of the Month: Andrew Blauser

Andrew Blauser (pictured in the middle) was one of the lucky thirteen officers that were a gifted K9 this month. When Blauser was given his dog, he was reported to have said “I was so excited about today, that I couldn’t sleep at all last night!” Andrew is a wonderful example of how great of an impact these K9s make in just the officer’s life — providing protection, guidance, and loyalty.
Congratulations Andrew, we are so happy for you!

Brian Robison’s Reel ‘Em In Fishing Tournament Continues to Make an Impact on Agencies Across America

Another successful tournament in Minnesota, with all proceeds benefitting K9s4COPs!

We are incredibly grateful to partner with the Brian Robison Reel ’em In Foundation fishing tournament! We enjoyed coming out to demonstrate what our K9s do best and partake in the festivities this past month in Robison’s NFL homeland, Minnesota.

A huge thank you to Brian and Jayme Robison for putting on such an amazing event and contributing so much to K9s4COPs! We can’t wait for next year’s tournaments.

Sportin’ Woody’s: Boiling Up Crawfish for a Cause, and Swinging Clubs Because They Care

Last year, Sportin’ Woody’s was able to fundraise and gift K9 Kyra to Deputy Dahlin, through their inaugural Paw 4 The Course golf tournament. This past week, Sportin’ Woody’s hosted a crawfish boil with all proceeds benefitting K9s4COPs. We were thrilled to partake in the boil, and even more excited to spread the word about this wonderful golf tournament.

Please join us for this year’s tournament, September 17th, and help us donate another K9 to our law enforcement! To enter, please contact Laurie Lotton at llfest@yahoo.com
or call Sportin’ Woody’s at (281) 851-6009.

"Not only are our handlers more equipped to do their job safely and more efficient, but our children's schools and our streets are safer."

- Deputy Clayton Marshall, Harris County Constable Precinct 4

"Having been a K9 handler for ten years, I know firsthand that there is no greater 'tool' that can be utilized in the line of duty. A life saving device that not only becomes our partner, but our best friend, that would give their lives to preserve ours. There is no stronger bond...and for that, I am extremely thankful."

- Deputy James Glaze, Harris County Sheriff’s Office

“If it were not for K9s4COPs, I would not be where I am today in my K-9 career. The impact that K9s4COPs has on the community cannot be measured. Thank you so much K9s4COPs for everything you have done for me and my fellow brothers in blue. My family thanks for you providing the best and bringing me home safe at night."

- Dep. Kenny Taylor, Harris County Sheriff Office

“People do not understand we would not have a career law enforcement without these 4-legged partners. Thank you K9s4COPs for allowing me such a valuable tool to complete my work each and every day. The bad guys are not grateful, but on behalf of me and my family we certainly are!”

- Deputy Larry Graves, Harris County Sheriff's Office
