K9 Mays is the newest K-9 officer for Texas A&M University Police Department. He is a one-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois mix that was born in Poland. Mays works alongside his partner Officer Cody Clemens to search for explosives in buildings and facilities around the campus.

“If we get a call of a package, unattended package or a suspicious package. Mays or one of the other K-9’s we’re going to get out there and we’re going to check on it. If it leads to something else then we will call in other resources to deal with the item,” said Clemens.
