K9 Fox served the US in the war in Afghanistan for three years as a patrol K9. Ensuring our soldiers and civilian workers could make it home safely. Once his tour was over he was decommissioned and repurposed as a police K9 and granted to Hollywood Police Department by K9s4COPs. K9 Fox kept the citizens of Hollywood, Alabama safe by helping take drugs off the streets, locating fleeing suspects, and helping bridge the gap between the community and law enforcement. K9 Fox enjoyed the working dog life– he loved everything about being a police k9.

Detecting meth, cocaine, marijuana, heroin, and even locating an underground bunker full of narcotics, are all in a day’s work for this officer. She has detected drugs and cash hidden inside of shoes, Playdough containers, stuffed animals, and car batteries. K-9 Asha’s “super sniffer” regularly intercepts drugs and cash sent through the United States Postal Service. She once found $157,500 in illegal cash during a postal interdictions.

K-9 Asha has countless busts on her resume—but her most memorable seizure is when she graduated from training on a Friday and was already busting drugs the following Wednesday. With her debut bust, K-9 Asha, along with her handler, confiscated 3,051 pounds of marijuana worth over $4.5 million from a tractor-trailer hidden in nine wood crates! Another top bust was when she located 72.5 kilos of cocaine worth $1,957,500!
