VCA Animal Hospitals Raise Over $23K for K9s4COPs!
South Texas and Louisiana VCA locations raised $23,912.80 during VCA Charities annual “Pennies for Pets” Campaign Challenge. The fundraising was a collaborative effort between VCA Charities, our local VCA Hospital Teams, and our amazing clients and community donors. 21 individual VCA Animal Hospital teams ran the campaign by asking their outstanding pet-loving clients to round up to the nearest dollar. The region worked together to donate this large sum of money to K9s4COPs on August 8, 2018, in League City Texas.

K9s4COPs is so thankful for VCA and everyone involved who supported the annual “Pennies for Pets” Campaign Challenge. We can’t wait to put more K9s on the streets and in schools thanks to the hard work from VCA Animal Hospitals!

Welcome K9 Halle
K9 Halle looks like she is enjoying her new home at Corsicana ISD. K9 Halle was funded through Discount Tire’s regional philanthropy program, Driven to Care.

Corsicana ISD PD Officer Richter graduated from Pacesetter K9 LLC Narcotics Detection Handler course on August 10th and is joined by his new partner, K9 Halle.

3rd Annual “Paw 4 the Course” Open Benefitting K9s4COPs
Please join us for our 3rd annual golf tournament “Paw 4 the Course” and auction benefiting K9s4COPs and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Registration will begin at 10am with 12pm Tee Off. The first year Sportin’ Woody’s raised enough funds to purchase a fully trained K9 for the sheriff’s department. Last year’s donations were decided between the HCSO for much needed K9 equipment and K9s4COPs. We hope to purchase another fully trained K9 with the funds from this years event.

Come out for a good time and a great cause! We hope to see you there!!!
